Delicious Healthy Foods

      Let's face it, nobody wants to eat healthy. What we want is to be able to eat all of the pizza, chocolate, ice cream, hamburgers and chips that we can and still be healthy but that is not possible. So instead of forcing ourselves to eat nasty vegetables and flavorless chicken, why don't we just make healthy foods taste better? Here are some healthy foods that are also delicious:

Greek yogurt
Greek yogurt is light and delicious. It is the perfect snack and you can even mix it with some health granola.

Smoothies

Smoothies are easy to make and very filling and tasty. Just blend together your favorite fruits, even some hidden vegetables with juice, yogurt, milk or ice.


Eggs
Eggs are inexpensive, full of protein and you can make them very flavorful with spices, vegetables or lean meat.

Lean Chicken
Chicken can be made in many different dishes. Try seasoning it and pairing it with a salad. Make some chicken stir fry or chicken noodle soup. Get creative.

Peanut butter
Peanut butter goes with many other snacks and is a good source of protein. Try dipping apples, graham crackers, pretzels or celery in your peanut butter.

Trail Mix
Make your own healthy trail mix. Put in dried fruit, nuts, pretzels and cereal.

Dark Chocolate
Dark chocolate sometimes acquires a taste but it can be very delicious once you get used to it. A healthy substitute to milk or white chocolate if eaten in moderation.

Wheat Pasta
You don't have to cut out carbs all together. You can still make some delicious pasta dishes substituted with wheat pasta.

Chai Tea 
Chai tea is in my opinion the most sweet and savory tea there is. Mix some chai tea with skim milk and some cinnamon or vanilla and you've got yourself a desert-like healthy tea.
